Everyone who thinks ranks don’t exist and PNMs don’t always like certain houses better is dumb. It’s the real world, not everyone is equal and as well liked as others. It is how it is. Not to say every house isn’t amazing in its own way but some are just more sought out than others and that’s the end of it. If there were no ‘ranks’ you wouldn’t see roughly the same tiered chapters on your social calendar. Yes every sorority has beautiful and incredible girls but to say there isn’t at least a loose ranking is just denial.

Ideally it would be nice if this was true, but this post is naive. There will always be houses more "popular" than others. The best chance at "not having ranks" would be having a level of panhellenic respect for EVERY sorority and setting the example for PNMs coming in that there is a place for everybody and that all the sororities have good things to offer. This is the only way PNMs will stop not wanting certain houses because they feel judged for going "bottom tier."

Y'all do realize it is not the case? Like at all? The top 10 or 15 sororities are literally Indistinguishable and all have THEIR OWN UNIQUE CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT.
Think about it... A chi o isn't going to like everyone ADPi or Kappa took and vice versa. Some people are perfect for some top sororities and lower for others. Why is that? Because the system is too big and diverse to separate 20 different groups of 200+ girls into legitimate ranks everyone can agree on.
Y'all are all dumb and shallow if you don't see that and are making yourselves miserable on this site for no reason.
