uga sororitys & frats & relationships
by: dawgdayAll the UGA Sororities are huge and have all kinds of girls, so you can't go wrong with any of them. You can find a group you click with in any of them. Some sororities decide who they are taking before rush even starts, so don't depend on the rush always being helpful for them getting to know you. The FRATS are smaller and close. It's just too bad there aren't more good looking UGA guys to go around because there are so many awesome girls and not enough good looking, great guys to go around at SOCIALS. So GOOD LUCK finding an awesome guy that doesn't have a gf or hasn't hooked up with a different girl every week. So some UGA guys don't want a gf because they can get a new girl at every social or downtown. It seems like the best guys are unavailable or don't want a gf. It's possible cause I've had both, but UGA, or college as a whole is not relationship friendly.

I've noticed the prettier sorority girls only go for GDI guys for relationships if
1.)they went to their high school and know them even college onwards/good friends
2.) attractive to that particular girl
3.) is a student athelete at any college
4.) muscular
any one of these criteria or all
Now for hookups, I've seen sorority girls hook up with hot geeds, but they keep it on the low low.

Does it really matter. There are some good guys all over the place you just have to get to know them.

I don't know anyone going to uga in the fall. I'm concerned that it is going to be really hard to make real friends, or meet guys. There are so many beautiful girls.

I'm just curious from reading all of this. Explain your reaction....Because it would seem either you think there are lots of better guys, or you like to hookup a lot....

Yes, it's difficult sometimes being at a college where there is such an imbalance in female to male ratio. Guys must love it though, but there do seem to be a lot more beautiful girls to the ratio of average joes, but sometimes average joes are so much fun and have a lot of character.

Also to "dawgday" , you should most likely look at guys from other schools who are in frats like Georgia tech, KSU or gcsu. There's usually handsome single guys there

Most sororities have 70 to 80 in pc and most frats have 30-35...so twice as many girls. Guys go to a lot of parties!

If you really get to know some of the guys as friends it is always better. There are many that do suck tho
