summer rush (fraternity)

Ok, so I am OOS and super excited to be a Bull Dawg this fall. I am coming to Athens for the 2-day orientation, but other than that how important is it to come to town one or two more times for summer rush? I want to come and hang out and get to know some guys before formal rush. I have registered with IFC. Do I just wait for someone to contact me for events? Should I reach out to recruitment chair of the organizations I'm interested in?? or Should I just show up and let out my biggest juul smoke cloud announcing my arrival??? (hahahha!!)
