alpha phi is not a bottom house

I wish everyone would spend more time enjoying their house, friends and school. Care less about “rank” and care less about posting Instagram worthy pictures. How much do you people spend on photographers? How much time do you spend doing hair and makeup just for a good Instagram pic? Live your life. In all sororities there’s too much posing and not enough living. Ask yourself -are you taking this pic just so your sorority can try to move up in rank?

As far as overall attractive girls and social calendar they’re really not that bad, but you also gotta consider the fact that they extend bids to (I’m pretty sure) literally anyone who didn’t drop them, meaning they also have a good amount of girls that are not so cute or cool and who most likely got dropped from all the other top or mid houses

...its the only sorority considered bottom tier or lower ranked that continually gets discussed and insulted on here and that really shows that some people don't want them to be perceived as anything better than a bottom house. Obvious that they are a threat to some fragile egos. They are new, started great and are still doing so great and only on the way up especially with the house they have. Who else is bored with this topic?

I think it's partly because Alpha Phi Nationals are so annoying. Constantly encouraging your members to recruit based only on looks, and not even pretty girls in general but only pretty in a certain type of way girls. Every other chapter ranges completely school to school but alpha phi is basically the same everywhere. They come into these southern schools like uga and uf and expect that they will be middle right away and then top within a few years. (no shade AT ALL to the actual members of alpha phi, sweet girls from the ones I've met,, can't to see the finished house and hope the chapter succeeds, it's just their Nationals that are questionable.)
