I know two lesbians volleyball players who were in DDD and SK, a lesbian softball player in DG, and a lesbian soccer player in Theta. All 4 of them loved their chapter but ended up dropping by the middle of our freshman year because the time commitment kept them from being able to be involved in their sororities.

Every sorority wants to take well rounded girls who are involved in other things, so I don’t see it as an issue in recruitment at all. Like the other commenters have said, being a student athlete comes first and is a huge time commitment. Also most student athletes have a close bond with their teammates, so you just have to decide for yourself if joining a sorority will be worth
