Depends where you ask. I'd argue that in the south, just being hot/fun to party with/loved by frats won't get a chapter as far as it would in the north. Where greek life/rush is more competitive like at uga bama auburn uf etc, character, grades, involvement, and classiness are way more heavily considered when people define a "top" sorority. Being pretty and hanging out with top frats isn't enough if the chapter doesn't do anything productive or positive to contribute to the community. (NOTHING against Alpha Phi at uga but this is why there's been such backlash about them colonizing in the south, because of their national reputation of being "top" just for being hot party girls. that may fly up north but not here)
