freshco girls read this

Just some advice to anyone who did freshco and is rushing. I can't tell you how many of these girls come to rush with the attitude that they already know EVERYTHING. You have been here for 2 MONTHS and even if you are a few steps ahead of the other incoming freshmen, you still have a lot to learn about school, Athens, and sororities. Just because you went out every night this summer with girls from a sorority does not mean you will get a bid from that sorority. Just because they told you you will get a bid does not mean you will get a bid from that sorority. Literally anything can happen during rush, and you have to be prepared to get cut from any house, even if your best friend is in it. SO never come to a house acting like you are better than the girls there or act uninterested because "you already know where you're going". You will get cut from that house and then what happens when the house you thought was going to bid you cuts you too? Stay openminded, curious, and know that you haven't even really started experiencing everything UGA has to offer.
