It is the job of the actives to manage the conversations and avoid or deal with these things. Yes, you will be nervous, and hot, and tired, and overwhelmed - DO NOT say this to actives when they ask you how it's going for you. Keep it positive, be real, and find humor where you can and if you can be funny in a convo that's great.
