It is a nice house. Needs work but will be pretty when it's done next year. Build up, don't tear down, sisters.

Seriously, tho - that house is pretty great and I hear alpha phi is gonna spend a boatload of cash on it. And TBH, it is better looking already than most of Old Row.

Nice house = high af dues. Just look at AGD...

They're already paying for their socials, I'm sure they'll be fine paying for the house too. Their nationals has dropped some serious change at Georgia.
Also, old row is an Alabama thing, not a Georgia thing. We do not have anything that is considered "old row."

arent tri delt's dues sky high because of their house? I would think it would be more expensive to build a new one than to renovate one thats already there

APHI has new houses all over the SEC and dues are not a problem/more than other strats.

Typically on those campuses they have every sorority (or a majority of them) building new houses so it’s more of an even playing field (bama, Arkansas, ut, uf, even ole miss now)

agd dues are actually similar to most other sorority dues. it’s well priced, especially if you live in house.

by: of course

The dues for ANY new strat need to be competitive with all the other chapters or it would hurt them in recruitment, especially for a new sorority or existing sorority with a new/renovated house. Simple good business: don't price yourself out of the market.

Alpha Phi won’t be able to step foot into that house for two years AT LEAST. The man who owned that house put it in his will that he wouldn’t sell it to any Greek organization, so they’re currently going through a legal battle. They’re basically lying to PNMs because they know without a house they’re nothing

by: Wow

If they lose the legal battle and don’t get the house in the end, or if the Athens community (who tends to hate uga students, especially Greek life) decides to make a big deal about it, that’s gonna be a HUGE PR nightmare for APhi

^^^^None of this is true. Alpha Phi closed on the house in December. Mr. Wilkins and his wife were at the ground breaking at installation weekend last month. There is no lawsuit. The house will be ready by Fall 2019 after renovation of the current structure and the new addition in the rear of the house. It will be beautiful when complete and a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Get a life. Take your crap somewhere else, Troll!

Well looks like APhi proved the haters wrong; they all just moved in to that house. Got to give credit where credit is due.

I’m friends with a few alpha pho’s and based on all the posts so far their house is looking real nice, wondering if it’ll really help in attracting PNMs

I am NOT Alpha Phi and I have no problem admitting that their house is very nice, it should help in their recruiting efforts.
