recruitment videos

Why do sororities here not have recruitment videos online? I feel like every other school has them all over youtube except UGA.

Because frankly they aren't trendy anymore. There was a huge influx of them a couple of years ago, but now sororities here just focus on a philanthropy vid and MAYBE a bid day video.

I feel like when those Alabama recruitment videos went viral a couple years ago, they sort of died down...

There used to be a skit day during rush which is when there were still recruitment/philanthropy videos online. Then something happened and skit day was no longer allowed, so they replaced it with philanthropy day during rush, which is where you watch the philanthropy video that otherwise would be online. Still not sure why skit day was scratched tho.

The decision to eliminate skit day was an NPC one, not a UGA one. Most if not all schools with fully structured recruitment no longer do skit days so that PNMs can actually learn about sisterhood and philanthropy instead of who put on the most creative skit. Obviously recruitment videos sort of replaced this, and PNMs instead cared about who created the most interesting/fun video.
