rushing junior year?

Hey I just transferred this semester, went to a small school before and their wasn't really a Greek life. Is it weird at UGA to rush in the fall if you are going to be a junior ? Do only freshman get bids ? I have heard of some schools were they don't care but could be more competitive here.

probably be difficult for you to get a bid as a junior, but a few of the houses which are not yet a total may take you. It can't hurt trying! Do you have any friends already in any of the houses?

Fraternities. And I have a few friends in differnt houses but not a large group in any single one.

No it's not difficult, there a few fraternities that don't take juniors but most of them won't mind.

I know of a couple of fraternities that pledged four juniors in one fall rush class. Don't give up.
