Pi Phi is not a mid tier house anymore, not matter how much they self rank and try to claim they're still half decent. Gamma Phi, AGD, and DG all got girls that Pi Phi wanted this year. They shared a ton of girls with DPhiE at pref round, and got a ton of girls who were dropped everywhere else. I don't know a single freshman who had a good impression of Pi Phi during recruitment.

I ranked Pi Phi last every round. I was happy to not pref there, I had a very awkward experience during every conversation there

This is so true. I'm not sure what happened because Pi Phi's seniors are similar to Gamma Phi, but they've really fallen behind since then. Pi Phi freshman are honestly a mix of girls that DG , AGD and DPhIE would have normally taken.
