Yes, people should be talking about heroin use on campus, but NOT on greekrank. Nothing good can come of this. So just stop it.

Since chapters don't talk about it, why not on GR? Chapters are either fearful to acknowledge it as a problem, they don't care or don't know how to confront the problem. Knowledge is power and recognizing the problem is the first step.

PSA of the day.

This is a deeply personal issue. Your end game is to hopefully stigmatize chapters. That does nothing to stop the problem. Start with the doctors that perscribe it like candy, and that’s not gonna change by yapping about here.

Doctors? Are prescribing heroin? Really @Wow?

oxy and heroin are both opiates, which means they're related, but are not the same thing at all. no doctor in their right mind would prescribe heroin to a patient, its a category 1 narcotic, which means its illegal for recreational AND medical practice.

Then take it to panhel or Greek life. The point of this post, and we all know it, is to sling mud. That's the point of this entire board.

And yes - Drs. If you have any clue as to what was really happening with the opioid crisis then you would know that heroin has made a comeback because of prescription pain meds being prescribed like candy. If you insist on talking about it then at least have the decency to educate yourself on what's happened. The information is not that hard to find. The link is clearly documented and statistically proven.

If you had any knowledge of federal law and how doctors prescribe patients and record everything and clear it with the hospital, you would know heroin is illegal and doctors can not prescribe it. Opiates are prescribed like candy and when the prescription runs out they look for heroin. Doctors dont say, "you look like youre in pain. Try some heroin!" Its one of the most addictive opiates out there. Takig regular doses by a doctor is intentionally addicting your patient. These other opiates are designed to be less addictive but give the same effect. In all actuality theyre all essentially the same.

What fraternity are you referencing?? An unnamed OR fraternity that throws parties named after bathing accessories?
