would a sorority ever give a bid to a sophomore transferring in ? i was not in a sorority at my old school but i am trying to avoid rushing in the fall as a junior.

So I'm actually in the same boat as you and as far as I'm concerned sororities will still give bids to sophomore transfers. I know girls who are in sororities now and they told me I'll be fine.

wow that is so encouraging thank you ! did she give you any advice ? i'm coming from far away, my family just moved to georgia but i don't know anyone

Yeah!! There's a form on UGA's Panhellenic website for spring make sure you fill that out. Alpha phi that's colonizing will be holding a rush week. Dphie will most likely participate in spring rush. Gamma phi, delta zeta, dg and agd did last year and are slated to this year. My advice is to watch the chapter's social media because they will be posting about events.
