upperclassman quota

So i'll be transferring in as a third year (but I'll probably have to be at UGA for 2.5-3 years) and I really want to rush (I signed up and got like 3/4 of the recs I need) but I'm worried that because I'm not a freshman or a sophomore I'll get cut from everywhere. I know the quota is 6-8 people, but I'm not from Georgia and I don't know any girls in sororities at UGA so I don't have any connections. Do they go over the 6-8 girls or is that all they take? if i go through rush and get dropped, i'll probably try Alpha Phi but i don't want them to not want me because i rushed and just got dropped.
