legacies?

If my grandmother was apart of a certain sorority, would that make me a legacy for said sorority? I know it's usually mothers or sisters!

It completely depends on the sorority. Each sorority has different definitions for what they consider legacies and how they deal with them. For example, Kappa considers granddaughters legacies, but DDD does not.

You can also just google "(whatever your grandmother's sorority is) legacy policy" and you'll have your answer in seconds.

UGA is a tough system, and ultimately being a legacy will only get you so far, depending on the national policy - and even then it gets skirted. The rest is up to you so in the end it's "nice", but it just doesn't matter. Be true to yourself first and foremost and you will find the best house for you!
