girls not getting a bid

What is the main reason pretty girls with good grades don't get bids? I have met a few recently and I am perplexed. I have plenty of friends who are Greek and some of the girls I met recently aren't any different. Just wondering.....

Maybe they had a bad reputation in high school
Maybe they were from OOS/small towns, had no connections and just slipped through the cracks
Maybe they're bad at forced small talk
Maybe they didn't have recs
Maybe they just didn't connect with the girls they talked to
Maybe they didn't have an open mind to all houses

Basically there are still a ton of reasons why a stereotypical "sorority girl" type girl might not get a bid and it really depends on the individual situation.

Because girls read this awful site and believe in "tiers" so when they get cut by the only house they think they belong in they just drop rather than be in a truly wonderful house that this crappy site calls lower or bottom. Hate it.
