when are recs due?

Literally ASAP. Pretty sure the first day of recruitment is the official deadline, but sororities are already trying to decide which PNMs they're interested in. If they don't have a rec for you, they're not going to research you at all and you might get cut after round one just because you weren't on their radar. This is especially true of top tier houses and any house that you don't have connections to.
