realistic ranking

It's so funny to see all the ranked that have huge "upper mid" or "lower top" categories. While the order itself is fine, it's kinda pointless to say that over have the sororities are really above mid tier. All the sororities at UGA are good, so there's no need to fit as many in the top tier category as possible. Here's how I'd rank them evenly (3 groups of 6). The sororities are in order within the tiers, but that order can be subjective. I don't think the tiers themselves are that controversial.
Top: ADPi, Theta, Phi Mu, AOPi, Kappa, KD
Middle: SK, Zeta, Chi O, DDD, AXO, Pi Phi,
Bottom: DZ, Gamma Phi, AGD, DG, SDT, DPhiE

I like this a lot. There are a couple houses I would personally switch around, but I like the 3 evenly sized groups. It keeps things simple and gives PNMs a better indication of how the houses all relate to each other. I wish all ranks on were like this because when you add lower top or lower mid, you end up having tiers with only 2-3 houses which is so subjective and confusing to PNMs. This keeps things balanced because all the sororities are good, so we don't need to crowd as many as possible into the upper mid/top categories. If a house has 12 houses above it and 5 below, it doesn't make sense to classify it as mid tier. But that doesn't mean it's a bad sorority, it just means that most of the other sororities are better right now.

Yeah, because ZTA and Pi Phi are totally on the same level. & DZ is the exact same as DPhiE. 🙄
This ranking is a joke.
Other rankings work that way because sure, DZ might not be as good as AOPi, but they're MUCH better than DPhiE, not even comparable.
Also, ZTA's social calendar is better than AOPi's, but other than that, they're pretty much the exact same sorority. One is not middle tier while the other is top. Lol

That's why the order in the tiers matters. The order doesn't change, but we have to be realistic with the tiers. For example: of course DZ is sooooo far above DPhiE, but on average, there are about 12-13 sororities above DZ, so they aren't honestly mid tier. Being lower in the rankings = bottom tier. That doesn't make them a bad house, it's just stupid to put 3/4 of the sororities above mid tier. Tiers are about what number your sorority is in the ranking order. Not everyone can be a top house

Order within tiers DOES matter because, well, that's the order. But still, this is more confusing for PNM. DZ (& Gamma Phi & maybe even Alpha Gam) deserves to be ranked with houses like Pi Phi and AXO, not DG and DPhiE. That's why the lower middle exists.
And if order within tiers matter, you have GOT to be joking that SK is ranked above zeta???
AOPi is above kappa & KD??? Nice try

I put AOPi higher because they honestly have one of the best sisterhoods at UGA. All the AOPi's I've met are incredibly nice people. Other than that, I would agree that they're closer to KD and ZTA, but I think sisterhood is more important so I put them higher. SK is most definitely above tri Delt and chi o and on the same level as ZTA. They're the most improved sorority by far.

I disagree with the order for a few houses, but I like having a more simplified rank. This way, houses are just divided into top 6, middle 6, and bottom 6. But of course, ranking this way means that the order within the tiers matters more. Having evenly sized groups puts the order into better perspective

I love the simplicity of this ranking and I agree that it's dumb to put 14/18 houses as mid tier or higher. There's no reason to skew all the houses to top tier because not every house can be a mid or top house. Just because gamma phi is way better than DPhiE for example, doesn't mean that gamma phi is mid tier, it just means that they're above DPhiE within the bottom tier category.
