old row explained

by: Truth

"Old Row" is called that here because it consists of the FIVE FIRST/OLDEST HOUSES TO BE PHYSICALLY CONSTRUCTED ON MILLEDGE!! This is not hard to understand! Who knows why they ended up in those houses, maybe it was done purposely & yes those are the 5 traditionally most exclusive sororities. Anyway that's why it's called OLD row. Literally the oldest actual houses on milledge ave.

theta is dead last bottom at a lot of other SEC schools so idk what you mean by "traditionally exclusive." Just look at Alabama and auburn.

The problem with this is that AGD is in one of those oldest houses, but they are bottom tier. They haven't been good here for a long time (if every). So what people typically consider old row here consists of the other 4 oldest physical houses (adpi chi o theta and phi mu) but then also includes kappa because of their prestige not their house. Add all that together with with chi o falling so much lately, and there's really no point in trying to make "old row" a thing here

Old Row has been a thing here since my mother went to school here and before that. Everyone knows the five houses when you drive down millage on the right. ADPi, Kappa, Theta, Phi-Mu and Chi-O all hang out with only sororities and fraternities that are old row and have simis and other events with each other. I don't know why you are even debating this??
