I'm sorry, but I have seen so many posts where girls are just confused. Old row is the best. Yes, KD and ZTA are good, but they're below old row. That's all there is to it.

It might've been posted here before, but it's super accurate. Chi O is still an old row house. And DZ's calendar was a lot better than Pi Phi's before they went on probation

Chi O is still considered old row, DZ had a better calendar than Pi Phi before they went on probation, and a lot of girls dropped during recruitment because they only had DG and went DPhiE and they literally have the same calendar.

Girls literally dropped out of recruitment when they only had DG left. DPhiE is definitely higher.

To the poster called OMG: Old Row might not be an officially sponsored thing like it is at bama, but HERE it's just a term used to describe the 5 sororities that social most with the top fraternities (ka/chi phi/sae) until fraternities cut chi o, that is.

At Alabama the sororities are not described as old row, that is a term used at Alabama for fraternities, not sororities!

Old Row at Bama has different meanings.
In terms of physical location, it's where the oldest fraternities are on University Boulevard.
In terms of social prestige, Old Row refers to the six fraternities (DKE, KA, Phi Gam, Phi Delt, SAE, Sigma Nu) and seven sororities (AXO/AGD/XO/DDD/KD/KKG/Phi Mu) with the most perceived wealth, history, and tradition. Every year, they get together and throw a huge party. Today, referring to a house as Old Row means mainly that it belongs to the group that throws the party. "Officially," the way to tell that is by the houses listed on the T-shirt.
For sororities, the equivalent of Old Row in terms of physical location used to be Sorority Circle, also known as First Circle. This is where Bama's first three official sorority houses were built: AGD, DDD, and KD (although the first two moved off First Circle after they built their new houses). First Circle is kind of a super-elite subset of the Old Row sororities -- they throw a formal of their own every two years.

Chi o is not that high... That has been established so many times on so many posts, I'm just gonna leave it at that. And DPhiE is dead last. They don't have a better PC than anyone, they aren't very involved, they don't have their house yet, and most of the girls who dropped out of recruitment to join DPhiE have already dropped DPhiE because they realized that it wasn't living up to their expectations and because they weren't the type of girls to make a strong commitment anyways. Also idk who all they or DG have socials with, but I do know that DG had a full social calendar this semester and DPhiE did not, so they can't have had the exact same social calendar. As far as I know, DPhiE didn't have a social with phi tau or TEP which I think are the better frats that DG and AGD have socials with. DPhiE is more involved on Greek rank than on campus.

I have a couple of close friends in Dphie and they actually did have a full social calendar last semester as well as a social with TEP and theta chi, which I don't believe DG does. I'm not defending anyone just correcting you.

My brother is a theta chi here and I'm also friends with a couple DPhiEs and they 100% did not have a social with theta chi. There's a group of DPhiEs who go to theta chi parties a lot but they are still far from getting a social with them. I don't know if DPhiE had a social with TEP, but you're the first person I've ever heard say that and my friend group loves to gossip about everyone's social calendars. My sorority cut TEP a couple years ago but a lot of us still hang out with TEPs so I would think I would have heard about it if they had a social with DPhiE. Also a lot of frats had hung out with DPhiE in the fall because they were new, but most of them did not add DPhiE to their social calendar this semester. DPhiE had Phi Psi, DTD, Chi Psi, and Phi Kappa Theta this semester. I'm not sure about phi tau. If they had anything else, it was just an unofficial pregame or something. DPhiE has some really nice girls, and I hope they have a good recruitment, but it annoys me to no end that they try so hard to spread blatant lies on this site. They're constantly trying to put down some of the sororities who welcomed them to climb the ranks when they really need to figure out their sisterhood and values. If DPhiE can set a solid foundation in the positive areas, they will get good PNMs to like them and that's how they will climb. Spreading lies on Greek rank and attacking other sororities isn't going to help them in the long run, and it will slowly turn other sororities against them

Calm down haha they had theta chi first week of the semester and they did have TEP. That is not a lie thanks.
