Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of Georgia - UGA 3.7 Let's be honest, if you're looking for a super popular sorority with all great looking girls, this one probably isn't it, BUT if you're looking for a sorority of girls who are incredibly supportive and are super active on campus, look no further! They offer bids to just about anyone, but they did end up with a pretty good pledge class this year. They're improving, but will probably always be considered bottom tier here at UGA

Let's be honest, if you're looking for a super popular sorority with all great looking girls, this one probably isn't it, BUT if you're looking for a sorority of girls who are incredibly supportive and are super active on campus, look no further! No sorority offers bids to “just anyone” there truly is a process within the Panhellenic rush process. Panhellenic and sororities do give the opportunity for anyone wanting to join and welcome anyone to go through the process, but all sororities do have a form of selection criteria such as GPA, high school involvement, etc. However one would not expect someone who has not been directly involved in the process to understand.

Disagree, they are not bottom tier. Think they are mid and rising. Many of the sororities that “claim” to be top and mid have issues. Need to clean those houses up and stop trying to suppress others. And no, I’m not a DG.

Going to agree with “the really go dawgs” too many houses claim to be top tier, but are falling and can not deal with reality. I am NOT A DG. Long festering issues which need to be addressed. Alumns being one of the primary problems. Time to move on and realize their day has passed. It’s a new UGA and a new Milledge. Out with the old ways and in with the new. DG and other sororities are climbing and others feel threatened.

With the real GO DAWGS and yep. There are issues on Milledge and current members and alumns, who can’t break away, are at the core. What once was “too” isn’t too anymore. Times are a changing and people do like others who are nice and sophisticated.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of Georgia - UGA 5.0 I came from OOS to UGA. Wanted to get away from going to college where everyone in my high school attended and be in the Southeast. A big school with a strong academic reputation, school pride and athletics. I fell in love with Athens and UGA on my 1st visit. I was nervous when I arrived freshman year and decided to Rush. Really didn’t know what to expect. Through the process I found everyone in DG to be genuine and sincere. I have grown tremendously since arriving in Athens thanks to UGA and DG. I could not be happier. I am involved in Philanthropy, I have made great friends, when I stress or struggle my sisters have picked me up and encouraged me. No sorority is perfect, but DG has been great for me. My advice is to not follow the crowd, find what makes you comfortable and happy.
