People say that because their founding sisters were all girls who got cut from the other 3 sororities. Not trying to be rude or anything it's literally just a fact. They realized the other 3 werent right for them and helped start something different. The more sororities the better in my opinion, increases the chance of people finding their second family!

Only 3 of our founders ever went out for other organizations, and we made some great friends and learned a lot from the amazing ladies we met :)

They didn’t really get the chance to “abandon their family” a lot of the girls in DSD rushed many sororities before starting/joining this one. The stereotype comes from logistical reasons

New girls are making them more social, have gotten their legs under them, do a TON of fundraising and all of their girls appear to actually like all the others, and if they don't they know how to keep their mouths shut about it :P Once they get a little bigger might even give APP a run for their money, but they still aren't quite OSigs ;)
