Sorority PC sizes
by: 1Why are the sorority pc sizes so small? The new pcs at western are more than double/triple in size. Even ubc has decent pc sizes. Is greek life dying here? Should we be worried???

it’s bc our university is in Downtown Toronto and not a college “town” like Western.
“Greek” life is not as big or significant is large metropolitan cities such as New York as well.
It’s not seen relevant and ppl don’t care to join because we live in a big city you can meet lots of people anywhere.

I don’t think Greeklife will ever die at uoft , but western is a smaller school in a college town so people will be more Inclined to joking GL because there’s less of a chance making friends in a way, where as uoft is in a massive metropolitan every corner you turn there’s a million people lmaoo. Utoronto greeklife is in a big city meaning that there are more opportunities in many different areas just like other big cities in the states. Also you have to consider that uoft does have 2-3 more sororities and you also have to consider that there are so many “local” Toronto sororities now so girls might be more inclined to join them rather than Panhel for different reasons like cost difference

like New York and Toronto there Greek life is old but smaller in PC size compared to college towns like a small town in the south and London where western is

good points not gon lie. Also uoft isnt known to have a massive Greek life they just have many greek houses. there more uoft known for having the oldest and longest standing Greek life in canada tbh
