kkg bottom tier, AND YALL WERE CONCERNED ABOUT AOPI??
by: LMAOwe were all ready to go off on aopi for letting adphi participate in their philanthropy yet no one's saying a word on kkg literally hosting a wholeass event with these ppl. i wouldnt expect anything less from a house filled with girls whose only purpose in life is to please ppl and not let anyone down. yall are something else. THESE GIRLS ONLY CARE ABOUT BEING LIKED THEY HAVE NO MORALS.

This entire post is so stupid. Every sorority who has been seen with adphi has been getting slandered. The pears post was bad, yes, but if we called every sorority “bottom tier” or “has no class” for associating with frats that have f-ed up, then every sorority would be bottom tier. Aopi was not “perpetuating misogyny” by letting adphis play dodgeball, they were having an open philanthropy. Kappa is not “bottom tier” for attending a charity event with a local preschool, they’re just helping out their community and honoring tradition, which can literally be seen on the adphi insta from previous years. Plus i see you all talk to the adphis when they pull up to the Maddy and elsewhere so you’re all complicit in this behaviour. Maybe instead of finding a reason to pit girls against each other for simply doing philanthropy you should all study for your finals.

In response to Yapper-
I understand that some Greek life traditions such as philanthropies and parties are normalized within the community it is crucial to understand that those song lyrics sung by the Adphis are is not something that is normalized within greek life, especially in this generation. I am in a sorority and have friends in different sororities and we do not have songs that demean and objectify women or men in any way.
People not affiliated with greek life have every right to be involved with it as it affects people who go to The Unviersity of Toronto and especially women who party at fraternity houses and attend classes with these men and women. Just because someone is not in a frat or sorority it doesn't mean they should be excluded from the conversation. You don't need to be in Greek life to have an opinon. Most people I have talked to in Greek life have also agreed that the songs are awful and have no place in Greek life.
We should question whether certain practices align with broader ethical and moral standards.
The hazing practices that occur are true, I have heard it from my friends and others as well. There is no reason for anyone to make any of this up. Especially with the proof of the song lyrics. Without those pictures everyone would say that the song lyrics were made up too.
Just because something has a historical precedent doesn't necessarily make it morally justified or immune to scrutiny. Societal values evolve, and traditions that were once deemed acceptable may now be seen as outdated or harmful.
We should hold frats and sororities accountable for actions that are not ethical and respectful.
