abusive/problematic dudes in frats

coming from the south in the states thinking of rushing a sorority need to know if the guys are as bad/the culture of misogyny as they are there. would hate to have a sucky first yr ikyfm

Imo the guys are a lot nicer than expected, they just boys being boys, make stupid jokes and are always trying to have a good time. But if your doubtful then don't risk, you don't have to be part of greek life to have a good time.

honestly no even though they’re frat guys the greek life is pretty diff here than the states those type of experiences arent really common and if you join a sorority you arent forced to hang out with the frats at all and can still have a good time

Most guys are generally decent. Like anywhere in life, there are a few bad apples. But for the most part, frat dudes are normal dudes who have good intentions. Get to know some and you will really like them :)
