the truth about 30 lowther avenue
by: theaphitruthhate to break it to you or any PNM's but this sorority is extremely exclusive. unless you have the funds to rent a $3,000+ apartment in Yorkville, this is not the group for you. Dining and clubbing at fancy places, along with paid trips to Europe are a given. these girls travel to Europe every summer. they will ask you things like 'where do you summer' as if it is mandatory to have access to first class tickets.. they have access to insane credit lines, have tons of followers on instagram.. it is very exclusive and is an example of the exclusivity of sorority life and how this is a place for the children of white, wealthy elites. at the expensive of minorities and POC

could be true but
a) Uoft isn’t Alabama or any Southern state where sororities are big and ppl acc care abt that stuff
b) Uoft and overall Canada isn’t known to be big on “sorority life” aesthetics and stereotypes
Overall if we’re gonna talk about people that are “boujee” in terms of exclusivity, majority of international students at Uoft that aren’t even a part of sororities/ Greek life are much more “fancy” etc.
Sororities are irrelevant and for people that can’t grow out of high school.
Truth hurts.

that being said, for any new students that are thinking of joining you don’t have to join a sorority for “long last friendships”.
