by: butridfrats are legit dying on this campus, yes some of the houses still get solid recruit numbers but they are look like virgin nerds that are so creepy towards women.

Honestly I think its because frats here don't self report properly.
There are zero institutions in place that ensure that the grades self reported to the academic chairs of various houses actually represent their real grades, and as a consequence, brothers who should frankly not be brothers as per international rules end up ruining the house by repelling a lot of the guys who wanna party and have a future.
Because frats here have no formal recruitment process nor formal uni reps who can hold them accountable, like half of UofT's Frats end up being places where careers go to die. And while every house has some guys who will be ok no matter what, the average brother at several houses probably wouldn't be allowed in the houses if everyone was honest. It is the lack of any such institution to moderate those houses and keep them guided by the values they are meant to represent that leads many people who would potentially find the values those frats are supposed to represent to feel less enthusiastic about the houses. A lot of guys want a place where you can work and grow, and become a better man, but also have fun. And a lot of the houses at UofT sadly can't be a place compatible with that kind of goal.

I mean some fraternities have GPA requirements in the high 2.6-2.8 range, which is just flat out unrealistic for every individual at UofT to have. There are plenty of worthwhile men with a 2.5 GPA

Frats actually have both chapter and individual minimums so say individual min 2.6 and chapter min 2.8. This way you can have a couple of idiots getting 2.6s but the rest of the chapter then has to carry the weight. Either way above 2.8 is easy even at U of T...you should consider college or Ryerson if you have difficulty there...

Bruh ADPhi you're basically just a club for rich nerdy Rotman boys who try to be cool I don't think you can criticize some of these other actual fraternities
