do sororities haze?
by: anonIm thinking of joining a sorority and im kind of on the fence on it. I have friends that are in it and they seem to really like it. However ive heard that every sorority does hazing. I know they all say they dont but i dont buy that?

Non-Panhellenic local sororities 100% haze but they aren’t affiliated with UofT. UofT Panhellenic sororities don’t haze at all and actually take great measures to prevent It. Can’t speak for fraternities !

To say that ALL non-panhellenic sororities haze is a HUGE stretch. KBG does not haze whatsoever.
I was in a Panhellenic sorority that I had to drop out because of bullying and hazing.

Some of the Panhel sororities DO haze, not all, however. Those who are saying they don't are either lying to you or come from the select few sororities that do not haze. I'm not going to tarnish another sorority's reputation, so I won't name names, that's not what this post is about. But I've heard MULTIPLE stories of hazing, less than the frats, but enough to warrant a serious investigation from their HQ's and be legitimately classified as hazing, and it's more than one sorority as well.

99% of frats and sororities haze. The rest of these comments are clearly from a lot of non Greek life members but yea pretty much everyone does it maybe a select few don't, but there's no way of finding that out really so you're just gonna have to choose a sorority that you think has the nicest girls

I think every fraternity/sorority low key hazes (except for DU), nothing crazy though and there's this myth that frats haze harder than sororities which is not true
