Which Frats actually take academics seriously?

Yeah, FIJI, DU, and ADPhi are usually better with grades than say Beta or Lambda

Fijis are generally the more academic fraternity since they offer the highest scholarships. Most of the brothers end up not having to pay dues.

Beta is the only frat that requires a minimum 2.7 gpa, many law school students, medical students come out here. Also lots of engineering and computer sciences. Idk who's posting these comments... du and Fiji are culinary and art school kids 😂😭

A higher minimum gpa seems great indicator in theory. But since UofT has no actual way of policing who follows gpa standards, in practice, it is up to the chapters to follow academic standards. I know that a lot of people point at both beta and lambda for failing to do that. I know from not one, or two, not even three, but four former academic chairs of different houses that tell me that there is a massive amount of pressure to just lie about grades to international. If beta believes that their brothers are paragons of academics, release your gpa info publicly, and make a legal statement indicating that evidence of deliberate misrepresentation will lead to immediate expulsion from international exec.

Deke's party the most and go to class the least. That being said, at least 5 of their actives have finance internships on bay street this summer. Call yourselves "Academic Frats" if you want but who's laughing now pals.
