RFM and invitations to next rounds in recruitment
by: Travis Kelce
Panhellenic/Greek life offices at most schools use RFM (Release Figure Method) during recruitment. You can Google it, but it is a software that determines how many PNMs a house can invite back each round based on how successful that house has been at getting who they want the past few years. It’s a way to make it more fair for all the houses and give women the best shot at getting a bid. That’s the goal, right, to join a sorority!
After around one, a couple of sororities (Kappa and Beta) have to make the most cuts. Other sororities don’t have to make as many cuts in the first and second rounds, they do it later. Essentially the pool will get smaller faster at the more in demand sororities.
Good luck to all PMM’s. There are many great options at WF.
