Sororities as Group Project Participants

Here is an oddly specific (and definitely not based on my real-life experience) list of how different sorority girls would behave if they all had to do a group project together.

From who puts in the most to least amount of work:

ADPi: She is not letting any one of you pull her GPA down by even.001%. She is so nice and sweet most of the time, but as soon as the group gets off-topic she reels them in with a forceful "GUYYYSSS.... let's get back on track."

Kappa: Finished all of her portion before the weekend so she doesn't have to worry Sunday night. Her work is immaculate and she volunteers to check your section too. She is the reason you get an -A and not a B+. Butttt after it's all over she pretends like you don't exist and never makes eye contact with you again.

DDD: Is super into getting the best grade possible on this project. She makes light fun banter and requests to follow you on Insta right after the first group meeting. She constantly brings up what sorority she is in, expecting you to join in and tell her about your sorority. Two weeks after the project you see that she posts on her IG story that she is afraid of homeless people and doesn't understand why poor people don't just go to college. You hit unfollow.

DZ: Usually she is not all that into group projects. But because this is a WGS class and she is a WGS major, she puts a ton o heart into her part of the assignment. She volunteers to present and literally gets applause when she finishes.

Theta: She does her work and comes to each meeting with her water bottle/tumbler that has a theta sticker on it. She is pretty chill and contributes during group discussion. Two weeks later you see her at a sigpi party hitting her dab pen. She tells you she was high for every group meeting.

KD: You were so excited when you were grouped with this girl. She is always making excellent points in class, the professor seems to like her a lot. But she's late to every meeting by at least 15 min bc she's involved in intramurals or banshees or something. Her part of the presentation is done super last minute and the Kappa is going through it at lightning speed correcting typos before the deadline.

Chi o- She was really excited about this project. She even made the groupme for it. Unfortunately, her PKE boyfriend Chadley Van Holten the IV broke up with her thirty minutes before your first group meeting. She comes anyway, red-faced and crying and all of the girlies tell her she deserves better. She is unable to be productive for like two weeks.

Beta- She was into the assignment and all, but SAE mountain/beach weekend conflicted with all of your group meetings. She comes to the last meeting 30 minutes late and with a violent hangover. She really didn't do that much on the project but feels so bad about it. Each time she sees you out at LR she gives you a huge hug and thanks you for helping her with her section of the powerpoint.
