Who Competes with Who during Rush?

Let me start by saying that every single sorority on campus has some great girls. You will also find that there are not-so-nice girls in every sorority. It is so tough to generalize a group of 100+ women and say they are all mean, drink, and haze underclassmen. So if you are curious, here is a breakdown of sororities and who they "compete with" during rush. This might help you suss out what houses may be spreading misinformation about other houses.
Most obvious: Kappa, Beta, and Chi o have a ton of overlap during the rush process. Girls who are set on being in a "top" sorority are drawn to these houses. Kappa and chi o compete for the most over pnms. Beta tends to draw its own crowd and is more of a wild card sorority.
DDD and KD: These two really aren't all that similar but each year they seem to draw similar girls. DDD is more of a traditional sorority and while they draw their own crowd, this tends to be where girls who liked kappa but got dropped from them go.
Beta, theta and DZ: This (surprisingly enough) is a common assortment to have at the end of rush week. They all rank different here on greek rank, but these three houses have a ton in common. All three love going out and are big into tailgating. These are also the more diverse and LGBT-friendly houses which is awesome.
KD DZ and ADPi: This is a common amalgamation of round 3 houses. They draw the kind of girl that really doesn't wanna go top tier but also does not want to be considered bottom. KD and ADPi specifically have a ton of overlap bc they compete for the RUFF girlies.
Just keep this in mind when you see people bashing certain groups on this website. Bc they compete so much, often this drives girls to spread rumors about their competitors.

Lots of PNMs pref srats in different “social tiers” (NOT ranks but srats who don’t hang out with each other/social with different frats). This is more common than prefs in the same tier in my friend groups.
