Machi and Tachi???

Hey so I’m from another school and thought I’d check out wake forest’s greekrank, and I noticed you guys call your sigma chi chapter “machi” and your theta chi chapter “tachi”. I’m curious to know why? Do guys in these two frats get along really well or something like that?

Lmao no it’s just a nickname based off of how the names are spelled
Sig(ma chi)
The(ta chi)
I know a lot of other schools don’t do it this way but at wake this is what they are called
