what are snap bids

You don't sign up for them. Usually GRC's will call girls who dropped and tell them they got a snap bid (its a "they choose you" situation) but there is also COB (continuous open bidding) where several sororities will host events in order to gain new members. Usually you have to know somone in the sorority. But sometimes they advertise it on social media!
