who decides who gets a bid

It depends on the sorority and how they do rush. A lot of times individual members have a say to a certain extent but it comes down to a committee and it doesn’t really matter if you got rushed hard and went on rush dates because the committees tend to make final say but like I said depends on the sorority. So don’t take it personally if you go on a ton of rush dates and still get dropped because your friends in it prob advocated for you and didn’t have control over the final decision

A lot of sororities use apps to rank girls. There are several different apps in which the pnm's will be listed and each girl who talks to her scores her. Members rank pmns an a scale (depends on the sorority if its 1-10 or 1-5). It is honestly kind of jarring. The pnm is made into a statistic, and if you don't make a specific number, you get cut. Girls score pnm's based on their chapter guidelines.
This said, do not let this bog you down during rush. Focus on meeting greek women now and being yourself during rush!

Darties/Parties/In class! All of us have rush “quotas” and need to go on a certain amount of rush dates so if you’re out and see a sophomore just be friendly and chances are she’ll ask you on a rush date :)

I heard that’s how kappa does it/they do a slideshow in a big room and fight over each person. my sorority does it completely differently and there is no app involved
