incoming freshman advice

I hope all you incoming freshman are having a great summer. When you all come to Wake, you’ll all realize that everyone at Wake has friends in other places. This website makes it seem like organizations are cut throat, clique, and isolated.

That’s ridiculous. Wake hasn’t been and isn’t like that. People post on here for a number of reasons, but definitely not because that’s how they act toward each other at Wake.

Rush is competitive even for the bottom organizations. Just because you were popular in high school does not mean that you will fit in with every organization. Quite frankly no one fits into every organization. Enjoy your time at Wake and remember that people here are friendly. Make friends freshman year and you’ll say hi years later.

Join wherever you want to join, people who do are glad they did.
