how hard is it if u don't know anyone
by: a readerWhat if you don't have an older sister or older friends from high school in a Wake sorority? Does it make it impossible to get in with out these kinds of contacts? Any tips on how to overcome that?

No, don’t worry about that at all. Just meet people first semester in the different sororities and that’s all you need! Wake rush is very chill and since we rush second semester, you have the first one to meet people and check out the different groups. We truly have 8 amazing sororities so you can’t lose. Welcomed you are going to LOVE it!!!

Contacts aren’t that important -
Things that I felt mattered at rush were:
1) your personality - you need to be confident and able to hold a conversation and be an interesting person. Practice your people skills so you are not awkward during rush.
2) your GPA - it does matter during rush.
3) Be we’ll put together. Dressing well, being fit and I’m not going to lie - but being just naturally pretty will help you.

This might sound silly, but what's the best way to meet older girls when you're a freshman? Don't freshman ususally hang out with other freshman? Are there any great organizations where you can meet the most people first semester?
