why is there no frat row/houses?

What's with the lack of frat row. I'm considering wake but the fact that there are no houses for frats or sororities is a bit of a turnoff (Obviously not a deciding factor though)

we just have satellite houses, same concept, just not an official house and they different houses are not all next to eachother in the same area
