adpi and kd

Yes they are good. Greek life is competitive at wake. BUT, if you are joining an organization for social status you shouldn’t join one. Greek life isn’t about that.

Just like your GPA doesn’t reflect how smart you really are, the organization you are in doesn’t either. There are people with good GPAs that are book smart but kinda dumb, and there are people in top organizations that are kinda weird.

These are both sororities with very academically minded girls who are involved in a lot on campus. ADPi has a number of girls who are religious and don't go out at all and a good number of girls who like to go out as well, they tend to mix mostly with Chi Psi.

KD has a lot more of outdoorsy girls who have more out-there personalities and are athletic. They tend to mix with Lambda and Alpha Sig mostly. KD has a bit more of a wider range of girls, some who love to party and some who don't go out at all.

Both are amazing groups and you'd make amazing friends in either!

Adpi and KD are ranked about the same and would attract similar types.

That being said they’re stereotypes do have some some distinguishable differences.

KD: very granola. They’re average girls and many people say they’re known for being more athletic and outdoorsy. They have a lot of different girls. Pretty good looking and aren’t known for being crazy. Solid sorority and sisterhood.

Adpi: sweet and smart girls. Pretty and known for being “good girls”. Southern & good sisterhood. The ones I know are always leaders in their clubs. Only thing is that leads to them and their goody two shoes rep because a lot of the girls hold positions in campus ministries.not a bad thing and a lot of them do go out too.

i wouldn’t say they’re ranked the same and they are definitely very different, but definitely both good. when you get to campus you’ll have plenty of time to figure out not just the stereotypes and rankings but what each sorority is about. after meeting girls and getting involved on campus/just going out, you’ll be able to see who runs in your circle and you’ll probably get an idea of where you think you’ll fit it. however, rush is really competitive so avoid getting your sights set on one or two. it’s really just a crapshoot with so many moving parts that are out of your control, so just be open-minded and excited about all of the sororitys because they all have great aspects and girls.

I would not say they are ranked the same. I would put Adpi lower just because of the awkwardness I detected from them during rush. Just look at their most recent promotional video and you will see what I mean.
