what to expect as a pnm?
by: PMNAll my friends are currently rushing at their colleges and I keep hearing about how stressful, confusing, and unfair the process is. Maybe it's because they all go to big SEC schools but I've heard stuff like how one of my friends got dropped Bc she's not from a certain rich neighborhood and another one Bc she's from out of state...are any sororities at Wake extremely selective like that? What should we expect each sorority to look for (if that makes sense)?

Wake rush is NOT like that. You spend first semester getting to know everyone. You will know which sororities are a good fit and which ones are not. Plus, all of the sororities here are strong so you will love whatever chapter you pledge. Welcome to Wake- you will LOVE it!

Wake Greek life is very chill compared to the SEC. Ignore the frat posts and the weird Beta/Chi o stuff. I'm not sure who is posting that but I doubt they go to Wake. You will love all of the sororities and everyone actually gets along. They get competitive when it matters- like raising money for charity but it is all a blast!
