Pike guys were always very nice to me in class and around campus. They always seemed to get a bad rep from other people but I always had only friendly experiences with their members. Especially the ones involved with campus.

Not just the best chapter on campus, but consistently the best AXO chapter in the country! The girls are smart, friendly, outgoing, leaders on campus and in the classroom. And they’re beautiful.

The DGs are known for being quiet and stick to themselves but are always over at Westmo doing their own thing with the frats there.

As a graduate of WWU, DGs are kind, genuine women. I often saw a group of DGs on Westminster's campus on thursday, friday, and saturday nights. They are normal girls, not stupid white girls. They want to succeed academically and in their personal lives. Always had a good conversation and a good time with DGs.

Straight up mean girls that use derogatory language. They say they are real strong women but in reality tear other women down that are not like them. They are the pick me type of girls.

I just graduated from Woods and was involved in Greek life here all four years. I only got an inside perspective from my own sorority, but I wanted to come on here and give as accurate of a description as I can of each house for anyone looking to go through recruitment! I have positive and negative things to say about all the houses, none of us are perfect. Just going to keep it honest and general. DG is one of the most kind houses at Woods. The girls have a great sisterhood and are so sweet to all the other sororities. A majority of their members are art, theater, and horse girls! They can tend to distance themselves from a social life outside of their own house. Not many of their girls go out on a regular basis. Generally reserved and have the least members when compared to the other sororities. If you’re a homebody looking for a small girl gang type feel then you’d probably be really happy here!

The girls are usually well put together and are known for outer appearances. They go above and beyond when it comes to campus involvement and academics. The girls go out often and have connections to most other houses. The pressure to achieve and look the best can sometimes be a burden on members. Sisterhood is weak due to cliques. They care A LOT about reputation. During recruitment their goal is to get high numbers rather than help new members find where they actually fit best. If you want to be pushed to achieve as much as possible during your time in college, this house will definitely hold you to it.

They represent a little bit of almost every sport at Woods and are generally outgoing and outspoken. Sisterhood is super strong and there’s a great balance of campus involvement and social life. Well loved by pretty much all the other houses! On the negative side, rules are a bit strict and this causes frustration for some members. There’s almost always a little drama stirring around the house. If you’re looking for a sorority that knows how and when to have fun, but will also encourage you to get involved on campus then you’d be really happy here!

There’s a wide variety of girls in the house and a strong sense of overall friendship. Not much cliqueiness and they are very accepting. They get along with most other frats/sororities and have a generally good social rep! The downside to being laid back shows in their lack of involvement. This house doesn’t go above and beyond to be active on campus academically or in extracurriculars. If you’re looking for a low pressure house where you can be yourself and make social connections then you’ll fit in great here!

I’m going to be really honest here. I rushed when I was a freshman and ONLY wanted AXO. The girls were beautiful, friendly, smart, and easy to talk to. But then I got a bid. And the first couple of weeks were really good. But what people don’t know, is what they should know. Things aren’t supposed to be called “mandatory” but there’s a point system. Which means everything is mandatory. From chapter meetings to bonding you have to do everything. Oh and “bonding” is not actually fun times with your new sisters. I loved this sorority and wanted them to love me back. But once you reach a certain point in the process, you realize how hurtful these girls can really be. I was struggling with anxiety and an abusive relationship, but was sent to standards almost every week in my final semester at woods because my grades were dropping. They FORCE you to take study hours not because they care about you, but because they care about their reputation and “top grades.” They reminded me of the mean high school girls that I wanted to escape in college. If you want to join Alpha Chi, you better infiltrate that big group of popular girls in the house or your life will be hell. Everyone was constantly mean to me even when trying to make casual conversation. I truly feel like they hated me, and they only wanted me in the beginning because I was super enthusiastic about them. Years later I am still sad about all my wasted time and money.
