rushing fall or spring

for freshman, spring because you have had a semester to get used to college and have an idea of which one you want to do before rush. For fall you have only been in college for like a week lmao

Rushing in Fall is definitely better for girls because you get more choices. Not every sorority does spring rush, it's usually just the ones who couldn't get enough girls in the Fall. Spring rush in general makes it easier to get into a chapter. You can look at that either way, because some people think that spring rush's get in just because they rushed at an easier time. This is not always true, but sometimes is. Either way, Fall is definitely the way to go. You'll have a bigger pledge class and a better experience

Hey! For frats, there are more opportunities to rush both semester. However, for sororities, I would highly recommend doing fall recruitment because you have more options to get in the right place for you. My chapter at SLU never did spring recruitment the four years I was there because we never needed to. Phi Mu and Theta more often do spring recruitment because they are newer and are looking to get more girls in their chapters so often spring recruitment is a good chance for upperclassmen who want to be part of Greek Life without necessarily going through the whole process of formal recruitment.
