pros and cons of each frat

by: Jimmy Tatro

Beta:
-Pro: Top tier and have the best GPA on campus. Also have great socials and get along well with sororities.
-Con: They have way too many guys and are viewed as a very soft fraternity.

SigEp:
-Pro: Top tier and are always competing with Beta in terms of GPA and socials. SLUperbowl is their most anticipated event every Fall.
-Con: Like Beta, they have too many guys. They also have the biggest egos on campus and aren't considered a real fraternity since they don't have a pledge process...

SAE:
-Pro: Mid to top tier and have great social events. Good brotherhood.
-Con: They don't have a pledge process and have a lot of try hards.

Phi Delt:
-Pro: They're the most traditional fraternity on campus and have a lot of ragers. Also have a very strong brotherhood.
-Con: They have the worst GPA and are barely involved in anything campus related.

Sig Tau:
-Pro: Strong brotherhood. They continuously improve every semester and are seen as the classiest fraternity on campus.
-Con: They don't have a lot of social events.

ADG:
-Pro: Oldest fraternity on campus with good history. Also have very fun events.
-Con: Very small fraternity and don't recruit very well. They took about 8 guys in total last year.

TKE:
-Pro: They have a bunch of smart guys.
-Cons: They are considered the worst fraternity and have a couple creepy and odd guys. Also very small.

Sigma Chi:
-Pro: Will be returning this fall. Had a great presence on campus and their alumni are loaded.
-Con: Could be worse than TKE

From a sorority lady - this is pretty damn accurate and fair statements. Only thing I would add, TKE's can be oddballs but honestly they're so so sweet. I'd hang out with a TKE over half the Beta's/SigEp's any day
