Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority Ratings at SLU

From being partnered with Theta for Greek Week I have to say I'm impressed! They worked so hard with our Greek-a-Palooza Dance and were competitive in everything we did. It was so refreshing to be around girls who are obviously friends outside of their sorority and know how to have a good time. These ladies know what they stand for and have the brains and hearts to back it. Love seeing Thetas around campus.

thetas make me wish i went through recruitment. seriously. i always see them together everywhere on campus. they are always so sweet and they seem to have a great sisterhood. these girls are so involved, smart, and they know how to have a good time. i would consider being apart of this organization

They're very sweet girls, I haven't met a mean Theta yet. I liked them a lot going through recruitment but I pledged a different house because they didn't seem to have a great sisterhood, but only because they're not well established and still very new. They also try really, really hard.

Great group of girls. They are classy, involved, and have a really high GPA.

Honestly?? "Theta's have no sisterhood" "Theta's never go out" "Theta's don't have a common bond and aren't friends" Are those jokes?? Anywhere I go on the weekend, I see Theta's. They are always doing really fun sisterhoods, and I feel like they are genuinely friends with each other. Sure, they have some awkward members, but really is there any sorority that doesn't? Stop hating on Theta, they are doing pretty amazing. Have you been to one of their events? Theta's know how to throw down.

Gotta give some credit to the Thetas, they've been putting a ton of time and effort into recruitment and there are also some really great girls within the chapter. However, there are some that are a little awkward and weird. I never really see Thetas around campus together either or out at night. They're working hard to get their chapter well established but still have the awkward "newly started chapter" vibe going on.

These girls are the sweetest girls I have ever met, unlike other chapters, they truly made their PNMs feel welcomed during Winter recruitment. These ladies are all so smart too, congrats on making 2nd in GPA, even as an ENTIRELY new chapter!

Can we just take a moment to remember the fact that they only got their charter like what, a year ago? I don't know how anyone can expect them to be at quota right away. I think they're doing great for how long they've been on campus and I always see groups of them together (especially at Starbucks) so their sisterhood looks pretty strong to me. Altogether, they are a classy and fun group of girls who are still figuring out the direction of their sorority.

From personally experience, theta is not what it could be. They have room for a lot of improvement. They are not viewed in a positive light by the rest of greek life at SLU, they have little to no sisterhood, they are too focused on competing with reason of greek life, they can't make quota, and they have no common glue which truly bonds the sorority together. Theta, you have a long road ahead of you but I hope you can do it. Good Luck
