For the size of Washburn the Greek life is very involved and cohesive. There is competition amongst the chapters, but it is usually friendly. Greek life is the most involved on campus, which sometimes gets to there head, but it is a great part of Washburn no doubt.

Sororities at WU aren't bad. Lots of drama and they don't interact with anyone outside of their house. Lots of cliques but once you find ur own group, they're fun. Lots of DG hangout with people outside, unlike Alpha phi, they only hangout with their own. Fraternities are kinda the same. Kappa Sig is ok. No house but they have lots of open parties, too many and they're only attended by other sorority girls. Sig ep is good, but they have some weird guys. House isn't very clean. They fun to hangout with tho. Phi Delt very stereotypical frat. Have been around them a bit, and they're insane. I was there once and someone got in a shopping cart and was shoved down their stairs and put a big hole in the wall. Overall, not a horrible greek life scene. Very few parties. More personal relations based. Glad I left though
