Sigma Phi Epsilon is my favorite fraternity on campus. Everyone in the chapter is so nice and respectful. They are all very social and active on campus.

SigEp is the best fraternity on campus. SigEp's uphold their values, are thoroughly respected, and have a lot of fun. If you are looking to grow individually, make a lot of good memories,and have a good time while at it, this is the fraternity to join.

For a few years, this house used to be the best on campus, but is now taking a nose dive. All of their good members are graduating, their house is turning dry, they have had some less than flattering allegations against them in recent years, and their new leadership is not competent. I have even heard that a majority of their new freshman class is going to drop and the rest that are staying are not going to be doing their chapter any favors. They need some serious help to get back on track or they are going to tank very quickly. I am a female member of the Greek community graduating this year and I have seen this house going down hill dramatically this past year or so. They need to do something ASAP to change or else. I would advise potential new members to steer clear because you will be boarding a sinking ship.

The men are smart, athletic and reflect a good image

This fraternity really focused on getting involved on campus and getting good grades. The brotherhood is important for them and they love to support your philanthropy

They have an awesome group of girls who are very involved on campus. Pretty sure they even have some athletes in the house? They are very social! Some of them like to go out a lot but always fun to be around

Phi Delta Theta Fraternity

Don't know what happened to this fraternity. When I left a few years back, this fraternity had a strong brotherhood with many members sharing similar interests. Now however, they just recruit to get numbers and pride themselves in getting the largest pledge class without much regard to the individual. It makes sense because their district leader gets paid based on how many members a chapter recruits. When I recently met with some actives, they reminded me of the old Delta Chi that used to hang out in the basement of the union. Completely unimpressed with them. If you're wanting to go greek, save yourself some time and just avoid Washburn's greek life in general. It seems as though Washburn is slowly fading the system out as different greek organizations have left. What's left are a bunch of try hards who wouldn't even get a bid at a larger school.

Kappa Sigma is the best chapter on Washburns Campus currently. They are the fastest growing and the largest fraternity.
