Can y'all comment what frat you're in and what the expected semester costs will be, hard to get a straight answer anywhere, any insight is appreciated

Fraternities with lower dues charge more in fees. Count on total payments of about $1600-$2000 a semester for any of the major fraternities. Not sure about the smaller ones

If you go to Blinn you can pledge sigma chi. You pay dues as a member would but you are not an "official" member. My old boyfriend was taken advantage of so watch out.

Not a guy so I can't speak first hand but for any of the big name fraternities the dues are all around $1,000 a semester, with SAE and SigEp being the most at around $1,300 I think. I don't think that includes the additional money that might get put toward performers, mixers, formals, certain events, etc. From what I've been told you should probably expect to pay about $2,000 a semester for the full experience
