They both already failed at TAMU. Phi Mu doesn't have any alum support and left after like 1year, and APhi was terrible here

Closed before RFM was a thing. In all probability they could come back strong. APhi national is known for successfully recolonizing closed chapters or reorganizing chapters on the verge of collapse and turning them around. Lots of people think they emphasize looks too much, but there's no doubt that their national council knows what they're doing.

The Pi Kapp house on the corner was the old Alpha Phi house. Gamma Phi's house was Alpha Gamma Delta's. Phi Mu never had a house.

They are great at Austin and at Tech and at North Texas as well. I have friends at the Texas and Tech chapters who are great girls. Why don't you stay off the Bama site. Myfriends there say they are a good chapter there also, but hardline on Southern schools can be hard on newcomers. Not like we would be with our Aggie spirit

Do we even know which sororities sent in interest packets and what presentation schedule is out? Arkansas is open for expansion as well, and they have two presentations in mid-February already.
Personally, I don't think we need to expand... maybe the current Panhellenic is agreeing and that's what's causing the delay?

Our rush is going good. Most PNMs get a good house.
We don't need to add another chapter. Yet.
Maybe in a few years. Not now.

That is awesome because they are non existent in Texas and big only in numbers because they colonize everywhere. They can't possibly have much local support. A terrible choice in my opinion.Look how long it took Gamma Phi to really start building itself into a solid sorority. Local alumni support is key and any of the chapters who have previously been here or who have some strong chapters in Texas would seem a better fit. What happened 20 years ago is irrelevant. Sounds like some alums are on here to me..

they actually have a huge alumni presence in the area. Its how they were able to start up chapters at shsu and tarleton. I think they'd be cool here
