living in frat house
by: ksimms8From someone looking to rush either this semester or next fall, do actives commonly live in their respective houses or in the fraternity house? Is it different for each fraternity?

Depends on the fraternity. The only ones that really have big houses to fit a bunch of actives are SAE, SigEp, Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, and Pi Kapp. I think for those ones typically it's mostly sophomores and officers who live at the house and the rest typically get apartments or houses with pledge brothers. Other fraternities either don't have houses or their houses are too small for more than a few people to live in
